The late, great Louise Hay said “It does not matter what other people say or do. What matters is how I choose to react and what I choose to believe about myself.” We must remember that success is how well we remain true to our own hearts and desires. We must remember that success is happiness, and everything else follows. We must remember that success comes when we are aligned with the universal energy, and we feel the flow. This is my true belief. True true true. I know in my core that I am a healer. I know in my core, my soul center, that the path I’m on is the path I’m meant to be on. I don’t need to know exactly who I need to heal, or when, or how, I just know that this is what I’m meant to be doing and I am going to move through each day with as much ease and grace as I possibly can. I am going to expect miracles and get them. I am going to trust that I am exactly where I need to be. I trust my success. And if I find myself not in alignment with that, aka not feeling good- letting negative emotions take over- then I give myself time to wade through the nasties and ask the universe for help if I can’t seem to do it by myself. It’s very simple: Universe! Help! I don’t want to feel this way or be like this anymore! Then the next thing I know, a friend I haven’t seen in a couple of weeks just happens to be in the area and wants to pop by my office for a visit. Bam. Re-aligned. It’s that simple. Trust can equate success. Success is knowing that you have people you can count on. And if you feel like you don’t, then you’re looking too hard to find people you don’t want in your life. If you always focus on what you don’t want, you’ll never get what you want. So what makes you feel good? Who lightens the energy in the room? Who makes your heart sing? Who makes you smile? We are all meant to be successful. We are all meant to be here to learn our lessons and do the best we can. If we take the time to stop and listen to our heartbeat, we realize we have all the help we need to be successful. We realize there’s a whole cheerleading squad all around us wanting to help us succeed, to be the very definition of SUCCESS. You don’t have to be on stage to be successful. You don’t have to have a mansion. You don’t have to be well known. Setting good intentions and acknowledging the love in your heart is a great place to start if you’re not feeling successful. Or just ask for help. Everywhere we turn we can see success. We just need to take time to notice it. The accountant who very earnestly helps us sort out our finances and help us to make better choices with our money. Success. The Cashier at the grocery who has retired and took the job to interact with people, who always has a nice word and a smile. Success. The police officer who pulls you over to tell you that you have a tail light out, smiles, and doesn’t give you a ticket. Success. The rock star on stage who belts it out because that is all of the love and passion in her heart that she wants to share with the world. Success. The medium/ healer/ teacher who rents a small cozy space in an old building in an old town who gets excited about all of the miracles that will happen that day. Success. When we are aligned with the universe we are aligned with our higher selves. My greatest gift to give is my happiness. That is alignment. That is success. Thanks for listening. Xx, Julie.
