KINDNESS

One of my favorite books to read to my kids is called How Kind! by Mary Murphy.  It’s a little young for them, but I still love the message.  It’s about one animal doing a small act of kindness for another, then that animal does one for another, and then another, and so on….  It beautifully illustrates not only the domino effect of kindness, but also gives a perfect example of Raising Vibration.

If you have been following me at all, you’ll know that as a teacher, healer and spiritual guide it is my mission in life to walk with people towards their own true path, illuminating their own magnificence and purpose on this earth plane.  A natural side effect of this organic process is raising your vibration.  When I raise my vibration, the vibration of my partner raises, the vibration of my kids raise and those who I allow to bring drama into my life seem to not show up so much.  Funny that, eh?

Kindness shifts our vibration.  Being kind is actually natural for us, believe it or not! When we volunteer our time, we offer kindness on many levels.  Say you serve food to someone at soup kitchen.  That person goes looking for a seat as someone moves their stuff aside so they can have a place.  Then that person notices a sad child and offers a smile to perk them up.  Maybe the mother of that child is relieved for just that second that her child smiles.  Kindness can spark happiness and faith in the world and in humanity if even in small spurts.

So imagine what we could do as a collective by offering kindness?  Our true essences would be exposed, starving any lower vibrational energies around us.

I’ve experienced kindness that has left me speechless and in tears of gratitude.  I’ve been fortunate enough to have that same effect on other people.  Am I perfect? Hell no.  Am I kind all the time? Nope. But I want to be.  And I strive to be. And then I think of this quote:

“In a world where you can be anything, Be Kind.”

You can be kind without being a doormat.  You can be kind and be firm.  You can be kind and silly.  You can be kind and gentle.  Kindness doesn’t cost anything.  It only reaps rewards.
